The Ponkan Mandarin (Tangerine) is an excellent fruit with a very sweet flavor. With it`s zipper skin, it is produced on a small tree during December and January. This mandarin is one of the best! The dwarf trees are grafted onto Flying Dragon dwarfing rootstock (Poncirus trifoliata) syn. (Citrus trifoliate). An excellent addition to any indoor or outdoor citrus garden. If grown in a container, the trees will reach a height of about 6-8 feet. In the ground: 10-12 feet. |
