The Hawai'ian pineapple is fun and easy to grow! This suckering plant is a member of the bromeliad family. Fruit appear on mature plants usually after 18 months and will ripen 4 - 6 months after that. The pineapple plant prefers full sun and fertile, but, well drained soil.
